MJF Teacher Trainings: Cancellation Policy
A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS
If you’re travelling to join us for a training, you’re responsible for arranging appropriate travel insurance for the duration of your trip. We strongly recommend choosing coverage that protects you in case something unexpected prevents you from attending.
Before the training begins, please let us know about anything relevant you’re currently working with in your body, including current or previous injuries, health conditions, illnesses, pregnancy, or anything else that might affect your participation.
Throughout the training, you are always in charge of your own body. We’ll offer options, modifications and opportunities to rest, and we trust you to use your best judgment about what feels appropriate for you on any given day. You never need to push through pain or participate in a movement that doesn’t feel right for you.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Your deposit of $500 CAD secures your place in the certification and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
If you’ve chosen an instalment plan, registering for the certification means committing to the full payment schedule. Your remaining payments will be invoiced according to the dates outlined at registration, and your place in the training is contingent on payments being made according to that schedule.
We know that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel:
More than 8 weeks before training begins: any instalment payments you’ve made beyond your deposit will be refunded.
Between 4–8 weeks before training begins: 50% of the instalment payments you’ve made beyond your deposit will be refunded.
Less than 4 weeks before training begins: payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Students are required to attend at least 80% of the scheduled training hours to remain eligible for certification. Any missed training hours within that 20% allowance must still be made up through private instruction at the student’s expense, at a rate of $100/hour, and according to studio and teacher availability. Absences exceeding 20% of the total training hours will result in automatic withdrawal from the certification, regardless of the reason for the absence. In this case, no certification, refund or credit will be issued.
Because your registration reserves a limited spot in the training, we aren’t able to make exceptions to the cancellation policy for illness, travel disruptions, scheduling conflicts or other unexpected circumstances. This is one of the reasons we recommend travel insurance when travelling to join us.
Moving Just Fine reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the training schedule, instructors or programming when necessary.
In the unlikely event that Moving Just Fine needs to cancel the training, you’ll receive a full refund of all training fees paid directly to MJF, including your deposit. MJF is not responsible for reimbursing flights, accommodation, transportation or other travel-related expenses.
