All of our classes, whether on mat or reformer, are designed to bring you and your body into conversation with one another. We move for function and ease.
Reformer Pilates
The reformer is not nearly as scary as it looks. The moving carriage works with spring tension to add resistance that can both support and challenge your body in movement. It's low impact and an incredible tool for building strength and improving mobility in a gentle way.

This class puts the emphasis on control, precision, and focus. Spend time tuning into the specificity and nuance of each movement. Satisfying for your inner nerd. Vibe is deep focus, background music, working smarter not harder.
This is a great place to start if you’re new to the practice.

MJF’s signature reformer class. A well balanced, full-body Pilates class. Challenging enough to make you feel like you worked, but with the centred quality that Pilates and its principles offer.

The only class at MJF where previous experience is required. You’ll explore more advanced Pilates repertoire movements. We’ll build off an already established base which is why we ask that attendees have a minimum of 10 reformer group classes or 3 private sessions under their belts before joining this class.

The jumpboard is an accessory we add to the reformer that allows us to move a little quicker and challenge our coordination and stability in a more dynamic way.

Barre is a low-impact, high-intensity class that blends ballet-inspired movements with elements of Pilates and functional strength training. Vibe is good playlist, energizing movements, and a good time.

Mat Pilates
Our mat classes require nothing but your body and the occasional prop just to keep things interesting. We'll explore things like core strength, breath, spinal mobility, joint mobility, flexibility, and and and ... in a way that invites you to get curious about your own body and how it moves.

Streeeetch is a nice, feel good, low effort class. Inspired by yoga, with breath and flow at the forefront and a nice, long integration period at the end.
Qualities: Fluidity, awe, spaciousness

This class blends self-massage techniques using massage balls with muscular strengthening, dynamic movement, and deep stretching. The aim is to help improve mobility, release tight fascia, and develop resilient and powerful movement patterns. Expect a mix of restorative work and active challenge - leaving you feeling both energized and refreshed.

The classical Pilates series as taught by Joseph Pilates himself. A set sequence you can rely on, so you get to worry less about the what and start to dive into the how.

An energizing class set to music and designed to get your heart rate up, make you sweat, and boost your mood while working on coordination and balance. Vibe is loud music, get joyful.
